Vincenzo Sardi, 23 years old, single, traveled on the "Adriatic" from the Port of Naples, on March 29, 1914. Last Place of Residence: Ucria, Messina, Sicily, Italy. According to the original manifest, Vincenzo was heading to Waltham to see his father (who shares the same name: Vincenzo Sardi). Aboard the Adriatic, Antonio Russo and Guido Cisno were also heading to the same house.

According to Gilda Sardi (his daughter), he fought in the Italian army against the Turks and a scar across his nose from getting cut by a sword.

Date of birth and baptism on his World War I Draft Registration Card, dated June 5, 1918, Waltham, MA. He also states that he is 26 years old, a driver in Newtonville but he lives with his father, mother, and wife at 60 Calvary Street in Waltham.
