John Dumbreck
I have traced a man of this name. He served originally in Lord Huntly's Independent Company, which was raised in 1790. The Letters of Service are dated 13 October 1790. Huntly was given a commission in The Black Watch on 25 January 1791 and brought his Company to the Regiment. John Dumbreck is listed in the Roll of the Company.

The details are as follows:-

The Record for 6 June 1792 gives the above except Height 5' 7 1/4". Parish of Birth: Mortlich [Mortlach].

I have also checked the Casualty Rolls, 1804-10, but have found no listing of John Dumbreck being killed at Corunna.
