Alexander had six children by Margaret Dunbar, James, Alexander, Thomas, Mary, Christian and Jean. JAMES, bapt. at Boharm 12 Sept. 1674 was in Mains of Rothes in 1700. He had four children ëby his wife Elizabeth Leslie: Charles, Robert, James and Christian, some of whom were baptised in the church of Dundurcus.
